Spring Forage
9:30-3 Saturday, May 24: Join us for a guided foraging adventure the forests of Mount Hood, where we’ll search for elusive morels, hearty spring kings, vibrant wild greens, and perhaps even the first berries of the season. This immersive adventure includes a scenic 1.5-2 mile wonder in the wilderness and several hours of hands-on learning about plant and mushroom identification, ethical harvesting, and the rhythms of the spring forest. While nature offers no guarantees, the experience of the hunt is just as rewarding as the potential finds. To cap off the day, we’ll discuss (and possibly sample) delicious ways to prepare our foraged treasures. Come ready to explore, learn, and connect with the land!
